展覽前言

當體積轉化成玻璃,藝術家讓光線穿過水墨,為表面暈染出一層薄薄的朦朧。我手指肌肉抽搐了,這是雕塑動作的神經記憶——跌落在廣美雕塑室的回憶裡,一件雕塑的真正生命,始於第一雙觸摸它的手。指尖觸及泥胎的瞬間,那感覺不是當下中的清冷堅硬,而是一種溫潤的、近乎呼吸的柔軟。眼前的輪廓是清晰的,邊界卻是朦朧;形式是確定的,感受卻是流動。

 

黏土塑型、青銅鑄造,立體藝術的創作者習慣了造型確定、工業化和明朗的製作程序。而梁倩婷的作品,卻在精準的雕塑工藝中展示了另一種可能——那種來自水墨精神「似與不似之間」的鬆動朦朧。陶瓷、水墨、玻璃與青銅,在她的手中不是固定的概念,而成為了承載光影與女性氣韻的媒介。那些西式畫框的輪廓,彷彿從霧中浮現;被東方瓷土注滿後,如同被體溫滋潤了上百年。

在清晰與模糊之間,倩婷為我們獻上「朦朧的力量」,讓物化的片刻留下可被觸摸的痕跡。

Leong Sin Teng

Associate professor

 

Born in Macau, Leong has a bachelor’s degree in comprehensive fine arts and a master’s degree in public art from the Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts. She went on to receive a PhD in education at the City University of Macau. In recent years, she has focused on the creation and research of sculpture, public art and contemporary art. Her works have been collected in the Yuexiu Park, Guangzhou City China and Art Museum Of Guangzhou Academy Of Fine Arts , among others. She is one of the members of the 2024 China National Arts Foun Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area Youth Sculpture Talent Training Project. She teaches at the Guangzhou College of Commerce’s School of Art and Design. She has also taken on several other roles, including that of deputy secretary-general of the Federation of Associations of Cultural Sectors of Macau. She is a vice- director of the Macau Art Association, a director of the Macau Youth Art Association’s and a supervisory director of the Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts’ Macao Alumni Association. Her father is the famous sculptor in Macau, the author of the " Mazu Statue " in Coloane and "Twelve Zodiac Signs" in Taipa, and she has been influenced by her father since childhood and has a passion for art and sculpture.

Wong Ka Long

Macau local artist.

 

Born in Portuguese Macau in 1977, Wong’s father is a watercolor painter. In 1996, Wong studied Sculpture at The Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts, and gained a Master’s Degree in 2003. During his university life, he went to The Silk Road for traveling. As born in a colony, Wong was inspired by the blending of Western and Eastern cultures in there. After the graduation, he went back to Macau and started teaching and art creation.

 

Since 2004, Wong has been participating in different sculpture projects, and figure sculpture is his most popular work. Having a strong interest in military products, Wong started thinking the meaning and availability of using a helmet. It was because he wanted to make some noises between cultural communication and military involvement. He specially got the inspiration from the policy of preserving Portuguese military relics implemented by the Macau government at that time, and created “The Love from the West” series in 2015. They were some steel helmets that decorated with blue and white flower patterns. After that, Wong continued to search the connections between painting and metal, culture and military, and he kept making some trials.

 

Wong is now the member of China Artists Association, member of Cultural Consultative Committee of Macau Cultural Affairs Bureau, vice director of Macau Artists Society, as well as the member of Macau Sculpture Association. His works were collected by many organizations, including Macau Tung Sin Tong, Macau Catholic Diocese, Henry Fok Foundation, Chinese University of Hong Kong, Fu Jen University, Cultural Affairs Bureau of the Macao S.A.R. Government and Macau Keng Wu Hospital, etc.
